Most of my work looks the same from the outside: a business with a real,
awkward problem, and no software that fits it. I take those from scratch —
the data model, the API, the app, the deploy pipeline, the billing — and
keep going until it is live and earning.
That has meant licence-verified websites for gas engineers in the UK,
white-label back-office systems for retailers in Nepal, high-accuracy
location tracking that survives Android killing the process, and video
pipelines that render and publish without a human in the loop.
I care most about the parts nobody demos: migrations that don't lose rows,
tenants that can't see each other, jobs that retry correctly, and battery
drain on a phone in someone's pocket all day.
